COFFEE AT GIANT COFFEE!

ENJOYMENT IN A CUP –

Life is about living it!  A Delicious Cup of Coffee is an awesome way to celebrate your day.  I visited a trendy, community-based coffee house today; GIANT COFFEE.  It’s relaxing, clean, well-staffed, in a great location and has phenomenal coffee.  Their Ethiopian was awesome. 

I went at off-peak time, around 6 p.m.  It’s around the corner from where my daughters have choir practice.  Giant Coffee is located at 1437 N. 1^st Street, Phoenix, AZ 85044; just off of Central and McDowell.   I was looking for a place to relax and enjoy a delicious, reasonably priced cup of coffee.  Giant Coffee came through for me.  That one hour of mommy-free time was a perfect end to my usually busy week.

Kayla and Paige, staffers were great and knowledgeable about their coffee.  Owner, Matt Pool, has created a fun, comfortable environment.  A definite venue to enjoy some family or 'me' time.  

 I give GIANT COFFEE the following ratings ( 1-5; 5 being excellent):

• Atmosphere: 5 (Comfortable, rustic atmosphere with a modern flair)
• Coffee: 5 (Excellent, I could have drank it black and still enjoyed it. )
• Pricing:  5 (Very reasonable)
• Other Items:  N/A - (They did have desserts.  But, I already had a sweet for the day.)
• Customer Service: 5 (Awesome staff who clearly enjoyed their work; very pleasant.)
• Location: 4 (Signage could be better.  But, they are convenient to where I was)
• TOTAL RATING: 4.8 OUT OF 5.

TAKE TIME TO ENJOY LIFE OUTDOORS -- VISIT CITY SCAPE!

There is truly so much to do in Arizona.  Although it is cooling down, it is still hot enough to enjoy outdoor water fun.  Once place that is free and fun for the entire family is City Scape, an area in the downtown Phoenix area.  With no money or some money you can still have a great time in the City Scape area (roughly around 1st Street and Washington.  

You can bring a lunch and sit on the grassy areas or at the tables.  There is assorted seating to accommodate everyone. If you want to spend some money, there are numerous reasonably priced restaurants in the area: The Breakfast Club, Pizzeria, Five Guys, and many more.  

City Scape is a high-energy urban area with greenery that makes for a relaxing environment.  It is safe with lots of foot-patrol in the area.  The Splash Park is open until October 1st.  So, take some time, walk in the water and rejuvenate in this lush city-landscape.
