Greetings,
Have you ever wondered, "Why do things go wrong?" Well, just know this -- If nothing had ever gone wrong, how would you have known what is right for you?
Some people call 'things gone wrong,' failures. I prefer to call them 'contrasts.' Contrasts are awesome because they serve as clear indicators of what you do not want. This means that what you truly desire becomes clearer.
Clarity is a good thing. With clarity comes momentum. When you know what you want, there is nothing that can stand in your way. Your energy focuses on that desire. You feel good about that desire. Clarity is liberating! It moves you from uncertainty to certainty.
So, don't worry about what seems to have gone wrong in your life. Accept contrasts as welcome indicators of how you feel about whatever it is that you are dealing with. Look at them as awakenings to what you most sincerely desire. In doing so, life will open up in ways that you had hardly imagined.
Remember, there is a beauty in things gone wrong. Those things lead to success. And, life is always working in your best interest!

HOW TO 'FOLLOW YOUR PASSION'
I've worked with youth for many years, usually in after school settings. Eventually, the question comes up about what to do for a career, one's life, tomorrow even. But, whether its youth or adults that this subject comes up from among, the look in the questioner's eyes is always the same; one of openness and sincere desire for change.
I can truly relate to this. Many times I have and continue to ask myself this question. How do I follow my passion? The answer is invariably the same; just do it. But, how?
More questions come up -- Does following my passion mean that I will be broke for the rest of my life? I mean, what about paying bills, what about feeding my children, myself or having extra money when needed or wanted? These are real issues to address. The problem is that these questions are generally viewed in a vacuum as if one is somehow exclusive for the others. In truth, everything, and I do mean everything, is connected in some way or another.
That being the case, understand this please. There is always a way to earn money, pretty much regardless to where you live on the planet. Think about it. People, live, eat, trade with one another and somehow manage to get by. But, what we are talking about here is more than getting by. This is what jobs are for, they help us to get by, to pay for the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the home we are blessed to live in. But, what's next.
The, 'what's next?' is what I see in the eyes of those who pose the question about following one's passion. Here's an answer.
It makes sense to earn an income. Income of some sort is required to live in this material world. Once there is income and basic needs are met, then one can think about fulfillment; what makes the heart happy, content. While an income is being earned, likewise, one's passion can be nurtured. As you work, take some time; better yet, enjoy some time developing skill in your passion area.
Get really good at what it is that you love to do. The better you get with your passionate skill, begin to share your talent with others. As you do so, doors will open for you. Your intuition will kick in and show you what to do next. Step by step you will move with inspired action toward your desired fulfillment, and one day look up to find that your new income comes from your passion.
This is called conscious fulfillment. To reach this point is a matter of intention. You will have already chosen to be happy and enjoy what you do for a living, with the understanding that what you do is not who you are. You are vibrational energy in human form. You are divine, regardless to your occupation or past life's circumstances.
In essence, to follow one's passion is to choose to live in a state of peace each and every moment. And, yes, having at least the material basics that a job or self-employment provides is good to have in this material world.
So, joyfully go to work, earn an income and use it explore the possibilities of your passion area. Remember, life is to be enjoyed. It is a journey, not just a destination.
You can experience your passion area right here, right now. Each time you think of it, feel it, see your self involved in it. Enjoy that process as you move into its manifestation, and life will always be Simply Fab.
Peace & Blessings,

HOW ARE YOU LIVING?
Greetings All,
Just a note -- It is so important that we take time to live. Sure, if your eyes open in the a.m. and you are able to breathe, then you can be assured that you are alive. That is a plus and to be appreciated. My Aunt Pearl used to always remind my cousins and I as children, "Everyone did not wake up this morning," she would say. I understand that more now as I mature.
However, there is a definite difference between being alive and living. Likewise, there is a big difference between living and surviving. As well, there are contrasts between the concepts of living and consciously living. I encourage living consciously.
What does this mean? To live consciously is to direct one's life. The opposite is to be a pawn, or like an extra in someone else's life drama. Conscious living is to be the lead character, and the director of your own life. It's about choosing how you desire to live. Here are some questions to pose:
How do I feel about my life right now?
What would I like to be different?
What will I choose to accept and what is best that I change or let go of now?
What reality would I like to live on a regular basis?
Just the thought of these questions brings us into a conscious mode of thinking and feeling. For now, keep these questions and your responses in mind regularly.
Remember, how you feel matters. And, most importantly, you are the only one responsible for how you feel. The choice is yours.
I choose to enjoy every moment of every day regardless of what is happening around me. I am observant and care about how others feel. However, I know that just as I am responsible for how I feel, the same is true for everyone else. Think about it.
Choose to feel good and watch great things begin to happen more and more in your life. Think well. Treat yourself well. Treat others well, but not at your expense. You should not have to subjugate yourself, make excuses for success or apologize for being awesome. The people who truly care about you will always be happy for your success. They will appreciate your laughter and enjoy you being your Truest Self. These are the people that matter.
So, feel good and be the conscious creator of your own life, which will control the experiences you have. This way, 'How You Live,' will be phenomenal!
Peace, Blessings and Live,
Simply Fab

COFFEE AT GIANT COFFEE!
ENJOYMENT IN A CUP –
Life is about living it!
A Delicious Cup of Coffee is an awesome way to celebrate your day. I visited a trendy, community-based coffee
house today; GIANT COFFEE. It’s
relaxing, clean, well-staffed, in a great location and has phenomenal
coffee. Their Ethiopian was
awesome.
I went at off-peak time, around 6 p.m. It’s around the corner from where my daughters have choir practice. Giant Coffee is
located at 1437 N. 1st Street, Phoenix, AZ 85044; just off of
Central and McDowell. I was looking for
a place to relax and enjoy a delicious, reasonably priced cup of coffee. Giant Coffee came through for me. That one hour of mommy-free time was a
perfect end to my usually busy week.
Kayla and Paige, staffers were great and knowledgeable
about their coffee. Owner, Matt Pool, has created a fun, comfortable environment. A definite venue to enjoy some family or 'me' time.
I give GIANT COFFEE the following ratings ( 1-5; 5 being excellent):

AROUND TOWN - S.F.E. with LEONARD BRAXTON
Simply Fab Enterprises is a human development company; meaning we are all about holistic, innovative approaches that empower people to be their Truest Self. Consequently, we love to partner with and support like-minded individuals, organizations and businesses; especially those that focus on youth.
That said -- We'd like to give a Shout Out to the "Power Through Knowledge -- Success Through Exposure" Program in the making through Eastlake Park Community Center in Phoenix. This week we spoke with Leonard Braxton about the program. He is an educator with over 20 years experience. According to Mr. Braxton, the program is designed to bring seniors (those experience-rich folks over 60-years-old) and teens together.
It sounds like a win-win scenario where teens can earn community service hours, which are required as extracurricular volunteer activity for graduating high school students. The seniors benefit from spending time with the teens.
"Unfortunately, some seniors in homes or assisted living facilities may not receive many visitors," Mr. Braxton shared. "It's too bad because many of them have a lot to share. They know the history, our history. They would love to share their stories, and I believe youth could benefit from what they have to say." We agree.
This program is being developed to also include fun and educational field trips for youth who participate. If you would like to learn more or have ideas to share, come to the next development meeting scheduled for:
For more information you can contact Mr. Braxton at 602.262.6759. See you there!
